One of my black hoses cracked the entire length when I tried to disconnect it from the pump. This is when I was setting it up for the first time. Extremely frustrating and disappointing! The kit does not have enough black extension hoses to replace the broken one and I’m unable to use the hose to adjust the amount of water flowing through the nozzles. It doesn’t matter how I adjust the nozzle to give it the “apple or volcano” affect, it’s never as full as the pictures show. I was so excited when I ordered this kit, but it did not work as the information on the website said. Disappointed with kit.
We are extremely impressed with this little fountain. The water flow is very strong. Our little duck pond needed additional aeration to keep the water cooler. This little solar fountain with the rechargeable battery was the perfect solution. The ducks absolutely love it.
Not a bad product but with no sun no waterfall. Also if attached to battery backup it spends most of the day charging the battery
I have a large outdoor cast resin fountain that has three elephant heads and trunks that water flows through. I wanted to switch over to a solar powered pump but was worried that I wouldn't find one that had a high enough GPH rating to meet the water needs of the fountain. This pump handles the volume I need and the dial setting for the flow is only turned about 1/2 on.
Works great. Almost too strong and blows the water too high. But works great with no attachments and pumps water up nicely!!!
This is a great little pump! Has a battery backup so the pump operates even without sun! Love it!

Works great as long as there is sunlight. Any shadow or clouds shuts the pump off. Would love to find a battery for cloudy days and night running.

Not complicated to assemble but needs a lot of strong light to work effectively. I wish it had a battery option or plug in option too.

Very impressed with this solar fountain. I bought a smaller cheaper one that was, just that, smaller and cheap. I spent a little more for this one for my small galvanized tub pond and couldn't be happier with it. The larger solar panel means it runs even if its cloudy, it has more length to the attachments so I can have the fountain part exactly how I like and it stays put in my pond, doesn't fall over or float up. Would definitely recommend. *i just wanted mine to bubble up out of the water not spray water and that's what you see in the picture.
Solar panel is quite large. Made one of those do it yourself fountains with some pots laying around. Did a trial run on driveway in overcast weather. Took it apart and moved it to permanent location and seems to work pretty well during the day so far. Hose is long and can be cut to size. My fountain is not sitting straight do to ground but waterfall is on side I can see.

This is the best solar powered pumped so far (I have 3). It starts running early in the morning while it is still shaded and runs well into the evening. I don't know if it is the battery or the array that is so good, but I'm very happy with it. My fountain is 20 inches tall and gets plenty of volume. Personally I like the burbling water. I find the sprays allow too much evaporation in the heat.
I placed this Solar Panel side by side with another panel yesterday. This morning with a little bit of sunlight the other panel worked as though it had been charging all day. This panel didn't get any charge. The manual says to make sure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight without shade. It will work best when facing the sun. I set it up just that way. Perhaps where I live does not get enough light to make this work. The construction appears good. I just wish I could get it to work.
Works great for our little pond. Easy to set up and is very well made. As all solar powered items, doesn’t really work well in cloudy weather, but as long as there is some sun it still works, just not as powerful. Great product, very happy!
This pump works great! We got it to replace a fountain built-in solar panel and 3.5v pump that had died. Rather than give up on the fountain completely, we ordered this 6.5 volt pump and solar panel which works great -- even on a cloudy day. We couldn't be more pleased.
This is the 2nd POPOSOAP solar water pump I've put in my garden. The first one I put in last year, and it's still working great! It's so simple to set up and use, especially since I've come up with what I think has to be the easiest DIY garden fountain. Get yourself some planter inserts. I intentionally didn't fill in all the gaps so you can see the orange insert. They're perfect because there is a hole directly in the center. The insert sits high enough to allow plenty of room for the water pump underneath. Add rocks to the top and voila! I might add dirt to the larger pot and plant some flowers. I've also discovered that the bubble spout is the most attractive to the birds and will only spill over the edge in a strong wind. Every garden should have a water feature and POPOSOAP is easy, affordable, and just lovely.
