After carefully removing the tape, the items inside the box appeared one by one. There was a pipe with accessories. There was also a device that looked like a water pump. The most eye-catching part is the part that is speculated to be a spillway. The original reducer may increase pressure by narrowing the pipe, producing a stronger outlet jet. After unifying the pipe diameter, the pressure becomes more evenly distributed. As a result, the water flow rate is reduced. Although this change may be subjective, I decided to keep the current modification for now. I will continue to observe it during weekly water changes and filter cleaning. Based on the actual results, I’ll then decide whether to restore the original design.
